Natural Migraine Relief in Renton, Washington

The Blair Upper Cervical Chiropractic Group has been researching the cause of migraines and vertigo for a number of years now, and their research is yielding excellent results. Mounting evidence points to trauma of the head or neck being the cause for these and many other health conditions. In fact, one report from the group showed an amazing case of a 54-year-old woman whose migraines and vertigo began after a car accident. According to the study, despite 10 years of migraines and vertigo, her symptoms were eliminated by just 3 months of upper cervical chiropractic treatment.

The Role of an Upright MRI in Diagnosis

The upright MRI, developed by Dr. Raymond Damadian, plays a key role in the diagnosis of upper cervical misalignments. This imaging device can discern proper flow of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). When a misalignment exists, the flow of CSF is interrupted, and many problems can result including, but not limited to, migraines.

This is because a backup of CSF creates intracranial pressure. The only way this pressure can be relieved is through correcting the upper cervical misalignment. This is where an experienced upper cervical chiropractor like Dr. Kurt Sherwood of Renton, Washington, comes into play.

Upper cervical chiropractic is very different from general chiropractic. There is no twisting, popping, or cracking involved. Gentle adjustments gradually and naturally move the upper spine back into alignment. The result is a proper flow of CSF and a reduction in intracranial pressure.

Do you want to see if you can get the same results from upper cervical chiropractic as the woman from the study that was mentioned above? If so, make an appointment with Dr. Sherwood to have your C1 and C2 vertebrae examined. Before long, you may be saying goodbye to the medication that you once needed to take for migraines and hello to natural relief.
