Suffer from Headaches, There is Now Something Better than Advil

Are You Really Getting Relief from Medicine, or Will Upper Cervical Help?

If you suffer from headaches, you have probably tried it all. Aspirin, Tylenol, and Advil may relieve some pain, but are really only hiding the root cause of your headaches. That underlying problem increasingly gets worse. While there are many reasons for and types of headaches, there is not one documented case of the cause being not enough Advil! There is much research being done that shows Upper Cervical Specific Chiropractic is very effective in relieving the pain from a variety of different headaches. We have seen positive results with our own patients, also.

Reducing Over 1200 headaches

Dr. Erin Elster conducted a study of 101 patients suffering from chronic headaches. These patients reported having a total of 1407 headaches in the month before beginning treatment with Dr. Elster. That is 14 headaches per person per month. All 101 patients received upper cervical chiropractic care. The results after just 30 days of treatment are astonishing. Patients were now down to a total of 111 headaches, or approximately an average of 1 headache per patient per month. That is a 92% reduction in headache frequency!

Another study:

“Based on literature review of several headache treatment options, a panel of 19 multidisciplinary experts concluded that spinal adjustments resulted in almost immediate improvement for cervicogenic headaches and had significantly fewer side effects and longer lasting relief of tension type headaches than a commonly prescribed medication.” [McCrory DC, et al. “Evidence Report: Behavioral and Physical Treatments for Tension type and Cervicogenic Headache.” Duke University Evidence-Based Practice Center, Durham, North Carolina, January 2001.]

There are many other reports of successful treatment of patients using upper cervical care to relieve headaches. The Palmer Research Clinic reports improvement in approximately 1,000 patients that were headache sufferers, with headaches being either eliminated or significantly improved.
