One of the most common symptoms of multiple sclerosis that we see is vertigo, dizziness or disequilibrium. Vertigo is when the room spends, dizziness can be described as a variety of different feelings including lightheadedness, swirling etc and disequilibrium basically covers all other feelings you may be having related to balance and unsteadiness.

But regardless of what you call it what do you do about it?

Is this something that you just have to live with because you have been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis?

The link below leads to a research study conducted on 60 people with vertigo. Some of which had multiple sclerosis and some did not but you will see if you read the summary or the entire article that 48 out of the 60 had a complete resolution of their vertigo symptoms while the other 12 had significant improvement.
